Tooth whitening
Philips Zoom whitening
What is a professional whitening like?
The Philips Zoom® dental whitening treatment we perform in the clinic involves lightening the color of the teeth, which become darker over time and due to the types of foods and beverages we consume.
Using whitening agents in our professional whitening, we achieve a lightening of the teeth, giving them more brightness and shine. This treatment lasts less than an hour and offers extraordinary results.
The amount of dental whitening will depend on each patient and can achieve a recovery of one to four shades of white. For this, at Zenit Clinic, we utilize Philips Zoom technology, the world leader in professional whitening, along with the most advanced materials, combining in-office treatment with trays for continuing the treatment at home.

What does the treatment consist of?
In-office whitening
We perform part of the treatment at Zenit Clinic dental clinic. We use a mouth opener to separate all the mucosa from the application area and a gingival barrier to protect the gums from any contact. The gel is applied to the dental enamel. Subsequently, measurements will be taken to create the trays that the patient will take home to continue the treatment.
Ambulatory whitening
We provide the whitening trays and syringes. The patient wears the trays at night. A minimal amount of gel (about the size of a pea) is applied to each tray, both upper and lower. When removing them, the patient simply needs to brush their teeth and thoroughly clean any gel residue left in the tray. This process can be repeated as many times as the patient desires until the ideal result is achieved.

Smile design study
Smile Design: Digital Smile Design®
Digital Smile Design is a diagnostic and treatment planning tool, as well as a very effective means of communication between the dentist and the laboratory technician, as well as between the dentist and the patient.
With Digital Smile Design, we can perform a thorough diagnosis and treatment plan using a specific photographic series taken of the patient’s face and mouth, allowing us to design a new personalized smile for each case based on the patient’s age, gender, and facial characteristics.
